With a list of credits that include off-Broadway musicals, television shows, movies, CDs/ records, jazz festivals, cruise ship headliner performances and various concerts, she has shared the stage with such musical greats as Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, The Temptations, Sandra Reaves Ronnie Spector, The Count Basie Quartet, Dick Hyman, John Lamb, Buster Cooper, Roger Humphries, Fred Johnson and Kenny Drew Jr.; the swinging big band sounds of 42nd Street, the TomKats Jazz Orchestra, Ocean Eleven Big Band and The Jazz Cellar Underground Orchestra. Her high-energy performances can be appreciated in the Motown/R&B Soul Sensations, Old School Funk Band of the 70s & 80s, and the acclaimed bluesy jazz band Heffner & Hefner. Her influences are Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn, Ella, Lena Horne and Aretha Franklin. Katt feels one of her lifetime achievements was her performance by invitation during the 16th Annual Moscow International Jazz Festival where she was greeted by the Minister Counselor for Public Affairs for the Embassy of the United States of America, Jeffrey Sexton. She has performed for the Ringling International Art Festival ‘Jazz by the Bay, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday 35th Anniversary and numerous times for the Jazz Club of Sarasota. As of lately, Katt has been a principal in F.A.M.E. Multimedia’s musical productions under the direction of Adrienne Harris that include “Lillette’s Rhythm Club”, “Queens of Disco & Soul” and Sophisticated Lady: Songbook of Natalie Cole which all premiered in Florida. Katt, joined by Dana Merriwether as leading ladies, performs in Sophisticated Lady: Songbook of Natalie Cole which premiered in Orlando Florida. She now adds to her list co-producer and playwright of “The Last Dance”: an inspirational tribute to the Queen of Disco Donna Summer soon coming to theatres near you.
